Project Update #1

The Sound Chef's Dictionary, The Structure of Morality, and Epistemaesthethic Music

A quick overview of where things are heading for each project:

1. The Sound Chef’s Dictionary

I’ve been saving up money to buy the expensive resources that compose all the synthetic neologisms belonging to the Sound Chef vocabulary. Once that is done, and I build a lexicon (a task I am looking forward to), I will use SIL software to build a dictionary app. It’s a tool commonly used by professional linguists.

2. The Structure of Morality

I’ve rethought the strategy once again (which initially required access to an experimental physics lab) to fit neatly with a different research project of mine called Potential Nocebo Negation Norm Universals as Intuitive Suppositions. This project attempts to build a new standard for philosophical intuitions so as to prevent nocebo-causing chaotic judgments. The standard stems from a foundation of meta-Bayesian medical epistemology (by inference to the best available explanation). In plainer terms, the dynamic knowledge structures of the most credible medicine will limit the hypothetical space for all non-medical, non-foundational intuitive suppositions.

But because there exists the risk of medical corruption, I have decided to do my own medical research altogether. A different company of mine indeed is a medical research company named Principia Medicala. Simply, it is seeking to reconfigure medical knowledge with respect to wisdom with the goal of producing and maximizing sustainable wisdom or what I call “wellth”. The key change in this form of medicine is to replace the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) with what I call the Flourishing Quotient (FQ), a form of fluid intelligence that necessarily also nourishes rather than risk corrosion (fluid + nourishing = flourishing). The FQ does not depend in construction on moral priors but is revealed by presuppositional modifications to IQ training methodologies, primarily working memory training.

So the new strategy of discovering the structure of morality will simply define morality as that which declines FQ needlessly. To discover the causal underpinnings of FQ, I have a clear plan that will require at least a year (if not longer) of research (with increasing depth and precision). So, I must table the experimental physics theory of morality for now (though it may become important later).

3. Epistemaesthethic Music

Because I define ethics as the spatial extension of temporally contingent morality, I can only achieve an empirical theory of morality once I gain experimental data from Principia Medicala. Then I will be able to carefully construct a general kind of music that would theoretically heal others (by maintaining or increasing FQ).
